Our styles 4. How do I find a midi file or style? Our demo formats For your hearing understanding we offer up to three demo formats (from standard to our special adjustments) to give you an impression of how we have programmed a title. You will hear one or more excerpts from the midi file. GENOS demo (purple) is a 1 to 1 recording of the specially-adapted midi file played on a Yamaha GENOS. HQ-Demo (green) is a 1 to 1 recording of the played, specially adapted midi file on a current top keyboard (Tyros 4/Tyros 5).

The GM demo (grey) is a recording of the GM/GS midi file, played on the sound module Roland SC-88 pro. The demo is always in the original key. A midi file is like a song, defined in length, that can be played on an electronic keyboard or any other midi-player. A midi file contains 16 tracks/channels and thus can play up to 16 different instrument voices simultaneously.

Our styles We offer styles / patterns in different adjustments specifically for a keyboard brand or – type.

(For available formats refer to detailed information on each title) What is a style / pattern? A style is equivalent to a rhythm section of a band.

Included are drums, bass and other accompanying instruments such as rhythm guitar, piano and strings or rhythmic instrumental interjections. A style is specific for an instrument. Therefore it can only be loaded into the appropriate keyboard or compatible keyboard. The style will then be selected in the auto accompaniment section on a keyboard and will be controlled by playing chords in the left hand.

Our styles consist of (depending on the keyboard-specifications): • 2-3 intros (count-in/standard or universal/title related) • 2 to 4 main sections (no chord restriction – universally playable) • Fill In / breaks always reserved • 2-3 endings (standard (short)/universal/ title related) • Enclosed text file with text- and chords 4. How can I search for a midi file or style? With our „search“-function (indiacted by the magnifying glass) you can search by title, artist or style (e.g. Pop, rumba, disco etc.). For better results enter only one keyword at a time. Example 1: You are looking for titles from the „Beatles“.
