Maui META is useless. I think it doesn't connect to phone because of the new MT67** series of Chipsets. So in the end i got my IMEI back by rooting my phone. If you have a rooted phone. I will tell you the Process if you want. Quote: Originally Posted by Himanshu Dabas hey, i think the best way to get back your imei is to root your phone. Yes i have tried to root the phone to execute the MP0B_001 process along with the PTTYCMD1 file.

Nothing works. Also used Chamapheleon, no good, Developer mode no good. Delete the NVRAM folders? No good as well. But yes, the phone is rooted so I can use ES Explorer. From the forum they say they can connect to MAUI just fine. So something broke on my phone in a way it seems unrecoverable!

Maybe yours were damage as mine and a light in the end of the tunnel just appeared. But I won't keep my hopes high. This is already affecting me and my daily job.

I have formatted and installed all roms from 13s to 18s. Nothing seems to overwrite the damage area from the baseband. It has been 2 weeks working on the phone straight and I can't seem to understand what is going on. So what have you done to fix the problem? So i was finally able to connect to MAUI META and the problem is fixed permanently.

I even tried to reset the phone and IMEI still works great. So here's What i did: 1.

Download the Latest MAUI META (Link Below) 2. Download the CDC Drivers from Below. Install CDC Drivers Properly steps shown (Remember First click on reconnect in MAUI META only after that connect your phone through USB.

Else MAUI META wont boot up Your Phone.) 4. Maui Meta will show 'connected with target'. Then select IMEI download from the drop down list. A new window will pop up. Initially it would only show Option for SIM 1 (don't panic). Enter 14 digits of your IMEI No. 15th digit would be entered automatically (which is a checksum digit).

Click on change 'NVRAM Database file' Button and it will ask to Confirm, click on NO so that you can upload your own database file. (which would be something like 'BPLGU.' Upload the Database file. Now click on download to flash. It will show a text about 'success'. If all went good till now then it'd automatically show the option for SIM 2. Select it and repeat the process as you did for SIM 1.
