You have the option in settings to have the oldest recording automatically deleted when the DVR gets full. I do not have that set as sometimes I don't watch everything right away. In reply to the OP about the DVR being full it was pretty full.

So my question is--if a show stops recording because there's no more room why do shows get deleted? They're not going to record anyway and why aren't ALL scheduled recordings deleted? The only explanation I can think of is that Jackarino's storage was 100% full of 'keep for 14 days' recordings, so it couldn't delete those to make room and therefore had to stop recording anything new. Unless, of course you have it set to keep ONLY the last five recorded programs(same show), the 14 days choice/mode, or unless it's just human error & you inadvertently deleted the programs yourself. Now of course if this was Multiroom DVR, then yes, we all had a one point shows that have gotten deleted. Some people more lucky than others, but yes shows can get deleted unfortunately.
