I am trying to remove a Kenmore Spacemaster over the hood microwave. Its an old beast from 1985 and the model number is 5. The manual provided on this site has an installation section but the section refers the user to another manual which I cannot find. I have tried removing the 4 bolts on the top of the microwave but its still quite attached and I can't figure out what needs to be done next to remove it. I do not see a lever that would release the unit after removing the front grill. Can someone provide the manual or even better yet, instructions for removing this unit. Salina did a good job. There will be 2 bolts behind the grill across the top of the microwave holding it to the mounting bracket. The bolts are near the top and the outside edges of the microwave.
