I have a cable for the CK3100 but need to use it on a CK3000 Evo, trouble is the connectors are different at the Parrot control box end. I just need to know which pins to connect to on the CK3000 control box.

OK, bought a Parrot CK3100? Think, off Lyons, This is not to say its broken, I just cant get it to work Its being installed into a Hyundai i30, which has standard ISO block connectors to the standard radio, therefore no need for adapters?

Am i correct? I have connected the parrot kit iso blocks into the standard i30 iso blocks, so all wires are connected, all power wires etc are connected. The Parrot unit doesnt seem to get any power, and doesnt turn on. Do i need to wire a separate live, ignition and ground.? I would have thought the standard iso block loom as all these connected anyways?

After a lot of 'encouraging words' a **** lot of smoke **dont ask!** the parrot kit now sits in a cupboard with a few melted wires. Until I have the hands and knowledge of a pro on the scene. With all the ISO blocks connected up, and then taking a power feed as suggested I had the screen lighting up (success) a few seconds later I seen/smelt the smoldering of wires. I gave up, and tbh am p!55ed off because I hate being defeated. I looked at the resources linked above *thanks* and tbh gave no help at all to me:/ Also ended up burning my thumb as I ripped the ISO block apart after a sever amount of melting happened.

Theres 2 power cables in the parrot loom, both should have fuses on them. One will be permanent live and the other ignition live. Open up the fuse covers (twist and pull) and you can check what voltages are coming to the fuses. Sometimes its simple as you need them switched around or more likely the hyundai is not sending a ignition live to it. This is the easiest way to check, and if there is no ignition live being sent to the ignition live cable, then find a ignition live in the car (fuse box, cigarette lighter) and run a cable and join it to the cable before the fuse to the parrot loom. Other than that leave it with me and ill sort it, and can update the software too.
